Mission Statement

Promoting genuine engagement between individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their communities across the lifespan.

Purpose

  • Creating social and support opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families
  • Exploring and cultivating housing and employment opportunities in the Northshore and surrounding areas for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Developing partnerships with organizations offering services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Encouraging Northshore and surrounding area organizations to develop meaningful inclusion opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Fostering awareness in the community with the intent of creating genuine engagement for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Providing information for parent education and information exchange
